I use a photo posting site for some photography I do and used to be able to post a link to an image in an email and the recipient could click on the link and open the image. Recently the email is shown as being sent but the recipient does not receive it. As a test sent the same email to a gmail address I use on occasion and Thunderbird shows it as being sent but it does not show in my gmail inbox.

If I convert the URL to a "tiny URL tiny URL" it works fine.

Here is a link to the original URL of the photo on a site (pbase.com) that appears to have been sent as a link in and email, but its never received. If the URL is copied and pasted into browser it does open up:

https://a4.pbase.com/o12/24/696224/1/175455898.qduVpeTI.Kyle1_MG_3689.jpg

and the link converted to a tiny URL: https://tinyurl.com/36yyspdf

Any help would be appreciated :)

thanks, Mike....hope this makes sense

p.s.: FWIW its a photo used for some coastal tidal research
